Walk with a Doc

Piedmont Mountainside Hospital invites all members of the Pickens County community to "live better" and spend some time with health professionals outside of office visits. Walk leaders will take five minutes to talk about a health topic of their choice and participants can ask questions for the remainder of the session (approximately 40 minutes). Participants will receive a free pedometer and t-shirt. Register today! Walk with a Doc presents: Walk with a Registered Dietitian Jenna Prince-Farmer, RDN, LD, LMT Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Jenna attended the University of Georgia and earned her degree in Dietetics. She completed her dietetic internship through Western Carolina University and worked in public health in Asheville, North Carolina before moving back to her hometown of Jasper, Georgia. Jenna leads our Live Better Pickens program and she is passionate about healthy eating, gardening and hiking with her son and husband. Ask Jenna about foods that can keep your heart healthy!
