Please join us at Sharptop Arts Center Tuesday, May 20th, 4-6pm for a highly interactive meeting to roll out the June – December 2014 calendar of events and opportunities for artists and patrons for the remainder of this pivotal year in the Center’s timeline.
Many of you indicated on your membership that you would like to play a contributing role in the future of The Sharp; this is your opportunity to merge your talents with the Center’s needs as we enter the next half of the year.

Youth Commemorative Calendar: Alvin Stewart will display photos of more than 30 images taken of award winning student art that appeared in our recent Youth Art Month Exhibit. We are partnering with the Pickens Progress to produce a gallery quality calendar featuring this art.
Kids Art Camp: Kathe Hall, Van Goghs, and her talented staff have successfully sold out the Kids Camp scheduled for June 9-13th at Sharptop Arts Center, 40 kids enrolled.
Workshops: Dixie Stewart is offering a Scrapbooking workshop June 3th, Jeanette Bottari a “faces” fiber workshop June 21st
Sounds of Summer: Past Sharptop president, Angela Reinhardt, is collaborating with Suzanne Shull, founder of Creative and Performing Arts Academy, are setting the schedule for evening musical performances at The Sharp, bi-weekly on alternating Thursdays and Saturdays. The first performance opens June 19th, bringing back Jeff Bianchi, Classical Guitarist who performed to a sold out crowd at the Center in 2013.
Drummers and musicians in our group, there is a place for you this summer to demonstrate your talents.
Bent Tree Shutterbugs: Opening August 1st with an artist’s reception and continuing through August 29th.
Georgia Clay Council Exhibit: Opening September 12th and running through October 11th,
North Georgia Art Ramble: December 6-7.
“Spiritual Spaces and Holy Places”Member Show: Opens Friday, November 21st with the Artists’ Reception and continues on display through the end of the year.
