This free public event honor's America's first people. Docents will be in the galleries until noon to answer questions about Native American life. Visitors may walk to the Appalachian Settlement from 10 a.m until noon, where they will see a blacksmith working in his shop. History interpreters will welcome in an 1840's log cabin. Carl Etheridge, an expert on Native American artifacts, will be available from noon until 3 p.m. to examine your artifacts, no antiques please. Hot dogs and drinks will be sold for $1 each.
